7-9.08.2014
8.8.2014 Dance!
Dance!- As the title suggests, the 180° performers will take you on a journey through dance-inspired musical genres from different eras. You will hear “Tango-Etudes” by Astor Piazzolla, “3 Madrigals” by Bohuslav Martinu, “Rondo” by Luigi Boccherini and an unusual performance of the D Minor Cello Suite by J.S.Bach.
We are excited to introduce two pieces commissioned for the festival by our guest composers Hristo Yotsov and Samuel Quartermaine Smith.
To enhance the effect of the performance, we will feature videos, exclusively made for 180°, of established dance artists from around the world, providing their unique interpretations of the music. To find more information about the dancers click here.
