Nadi Gogoulou
Nadi Gogoulou is a professional dancer, performer and dance teacher from Greece. She graduated the professional School of Dance of “Despina Grigoriadou” in 2011 and Pireaus University studying “Statistics and Insurance Science”, in 2013. The last three years she has been teaching contemporary dance to children and adults and organising jam improvisation classes. She also performes and develops her own pieces (such as DownFall, Jizz in the bitz) and participates in dance performances of other choreographers (such as Vasilios Skarmoutsos).
In addition Nadi is performing in site specific performances in different places, such as the “Symphony of a missing room”, a Lundahl & Seitl production in the Acropolis Museum, as part of the MIR Festival, as well as an event for the ‘GLOBAL WATER DANCES’(Dancing for Safe Water Everywhere) on an Athenian beach and a performance for the Athens Video Dance Projects, called "Promenade", (an exhibition for the School of Fine Arts). She has worked as an assistant choreographer, an apprentice dancer (during the creation of the dance performance “Planites” by Aerites Dance Company with choreographer Patricia Apergi) and has taken part in numerous workshops in contemporary technique, improvisation, hip-hop, African dances, parkour, performance technique, with exceptional teachers such as: Hofesh Shechter dancers, Damien Jalet, David Zambrano, Linda Kapetanea, Josef Frucek, Patricia Apergi, Paul Blackman, Samuel Lefeuvre, Chara Kotsali, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou, Stella Zannou, Inaki Azpillaga, Akos Hargitav, Frey Faust, Dafni Asimakopoulou, Christine Sougioultzi and Goran Bogdanovski.
At the moment Nadi is rehearshing for the theatrical performance “Redshift”, under the direction of Thanos Papakonstantinou for the Athens Festival 2014. She works actively in the field of art video(dance) and her latest work "safe-land" was projected at the Athens Video Dance Project in Fabruary.
