Lili Bogdanova

 

Lili Bogdanova was born on 24 June 1994 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Last year she finished her studies at the National School of Music, where she was a piano student of Emilia Kaneva and currently she is a student at the National Music Academy "P. Vladigerov", Sofia in the piano class of Borislava Taneva.

 

Lili has won numerous prizes from national and international piano competitions. She has also been the soloist of many orchestras, such as the New Symphony Orchestra, Sofia; Classic FM Orchestra, Sofia;Symphonietta Vidin;Columbia County Chamber Orchestra and CCYO, Georgia, USA;Symphonietta "Athens", Greece.

 

Lili has given recitals in Bulgaria, Switzerland, Greece, USA, UK, Luxemburg. She has also performed with her piano trio in New York and Washington, USA.

 

In two consecutive years, Lili was accepted to the prestigious festival and masterclass "Musica Mundi", Belgium.

 

In October 2013, Lili and Rossen Gamev (violin) gave a recital in Yokohama, Japan. Also, together with Hitoshi Miyazawa (cello) and Mitsuyoshi Oikawa (conductor) performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the Mozart Virtuoso Orchestra in one of the most prestigious music halls in Tokyo - "Metropolitan Theatre".

 

Lili has performed at many different venues in Bulgaria both as a solo player and as a chamber musician. She has participated in international masterclasses with many prominent musicians.
