Amalia Kosma

 

Amalia Kosma was born in Athens, in 1985. She graduated from the Professional Dance School "Anna Petrova" and the National Dance School (Honours) . She studied also dance at Folkwang University of Arts ( Essen-Germany ) and Sociology at Panteion University ( Athens ) .

 

As a dancer , Amalia has collaborated with choreographers such us Dimitris Papaioannou, Mariela Nestora, Iris Karayan, Christos Papadopoulos, Sofia Spyratou, КammerTanzCoop (KTC) and directors such us Thomas Moschopoulos, Sotiris Chatzakis , Euripides Laskaridis (Osmosis), Thanos Papakonstantinou (Helter Skelter Company). She has participated in international festivals (Athens and Epidaurus Festival, No ballet-Germany, City to City Cabaret-United Kingdom) and has attended workshops in classical ballet and contemporary dance in Greece and abroad (Martha Graham Dance School - New York, Artez Dansacademie - Arnhem/Netherlands, Hochshule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst -Frankfurt).

 

She has been a member of the teaching faculty at the National Dance School since 2012.
